A really beautiful fixture that elevates our kitchen. Assembly was pretty simple and didn't take more than an hour and a half with putting the glass panels in and then installing in place of the existing fixture. This fan is beautiful. The prettiest fan I have bought in years. It even had extra longer blades than the average ceiling fan. The reason I gave it a four star and not five is because of fan speed. I was really excited it had six speeds. Unfortunately having it on the highest speed, six, it only feels like a two on a three speed ceiling fan. Took the plunge on this when it was on sale and it's gorgeous. Very big, but a quality piece and very elegant. We have it on a dimmer, which adds lovely dimension. We had it professionally installed, but our electrician didn't have too hard a time of it (though it is heavy and took 2 sets of hands at one point). Love this fan! We needed something to suit our living room with a 24 ft high ceiling, and this fan is absolutely perfect. We had to erect scaffolding for the fan to be installed, but it was worth the effort. The circulation of cool air is amazing with the 6 speed remote control and 10 blades. The light is also a bonus and makes a huge difference as our old fan had only 4 blades and no light. Easy to assemble, the hardest part was taking down the old one!!
