We installed this light fixture in a spare bathroom. We purchased it based only on the photo in the ad, never seeing it in person. My husband talked me into it because he liked the brassy, dark look of it and I only agreed to order it because of the hanging crystals. I was delightfully surprised at how lovely it is and I am absolutely recommending it for the classy and quality appearance of it. The faux crystals are not colorful but still quite pretty. If you like the ad picture then you will like it in person a lot more. We chose bulbs that protrude a bit from the bottom, because we like that appearance, but you can install smaller ones that don’t. These beautifully beaded wall sconce added the right amount of detail on my wall, beside my tall headboard. Lamps on my nightside table were too small for the area. The only drawback is the fit of the glass light shade. It appears off by about a quater of an inch on one side, but I think it's due to the design of the glass cover. I needed a light fixture for a client's library renovation. Something masculine and substantial, that blended black and gold.
