I haven’t installed this yet, but it’s a large and beautiful pendant light. Taking off a star because it arrived covered in tiny styrofoam bits from a broken/degraded piece of styrofoam in the packaging. A few of the wicker parts were also broken, which is disappointing in a pendant at this price. Beautiful light, but Minka Lavery's installation instructions are terrible. It would be helpful if they provided blow up pictures of each screw and the location this screw is used. A really beautiful fixture that elevates our kitchen. Assembly was pretty simple and didn't take more than an hour and a half with putting the glass panels in and then installing in place of the existing fixture. Took the plunge on this when it was on sale and it's gorgeous. Very big, but a quality piece and very elegant. We have it on a dimmer, which adds lovely dimension. We had it professionally installed, but our electrician didn't have too hard a time of it (though it is heavy and took 2 sets of hands at one point). I needed a light fixture for a client's library renovation. Something masculine and substantial, that blended black and gold.
