Am hoping with time seat cushion will mellow a bit. 3. My husband and I are both under 6’ I can see if you are taller than that the chair especially in reclined mode will not fit you well. 4. The chair does fully recline to an almost horizontal mode you just need to pull the chair away from the wall if you have it close to allow space. I did A LOT of research before buying this chair, and I am happy with my purchase. It came in 1 decently packed box. The assembly took 5 minutes, and we are very happy with it so far! It is not a huge, oversized chair - but that's great because we needed something that would pair nicely with our existing living room furniture without swallowing up the room. My only concern is keeping it clean with 2 teenage boys...but we shall see. It looks like it can be spot cleaned pretty well, but time will tell. I also would've loved it be just a wee bit darker beige, but it is a nice creamy color (in pics the view from behind is more accurate color in person). It is very comfortable, and I love that it is "push back" without extra latches, pulls, pockets, or needs to be plugged in to recline. Overall impression of cover materials and chair assembly was good. Only one part was difficult to assemble - the Step 4 needs two people to put it together. Love the chair!!!! I was looking at a similar chair at Room & Board but it was $3200. The price is great, the quality is awesome too. Some people complained about the recline, it reclines fine. There are three settings on the chair and they all lock in place. I think some people are trying to recline between the 2nd and 3rd position and yes it doesn’t lock because its between the position. Our power recliner is a surprisingly plush way to kick back and relax. It is part Scandi-inspired, part mod in design. It has a dynamic solid and engineered wood frame with a finish. A bulky seat and back are wrapped in boucle-look polyester fabric that's also tear-resistant. They're filled with fiber-wrapped foam over sinuous springs to provide ample support as you recline. Push the buttons on the side to activate the footrests and get the back at just the right angle.

The back legs aren’t protected, and mine arrived cracked. The first one I received had a completely broken leg and had to be returned. Given the size and weight of the box, this feels like an avoidable issue. The reclining mechanism is a bit stiff at first and can catch you off guard, but I expect that to improve with use. Overall, it’s an elegant chair that fits well with different decor styles. One heads-up: unpacking takes some effort.
