6 Years of Daily Use & Kid-Tested! (Great for Desks or Dining) I originally purchased this chair in 2019 for my son’s desk, and it has been used daily for the past six years. I’m honestly impressed by how well the materials have held up. The plastic seat and manufactured wood legs haven't cracked, peeled, or faded at all despite the heavy use. For size reference, it fits an adult or older child comfortably—my son was nearly 6' tall in the earlier photos and used it without an issue. The aesthetic is clean and modern, fitting in well with most decor. Pro-Tip for Hardwood Floors: The only minor issue I had was some slight scratching on my wood floors. I solved this easily by adding some $6 clear 'sock-style' boots with felt bottoms. It now slides perfectly and hasn't left a mark since! As a testament to the durability—even though my younger kids eventually used the seat as a coloring book (see the last photo!), the chair itself remains as sturdy as the day we bought it. A few questionable design/quality choices like the base/tilt piece sitting on top of the bracket that connects the seat bottom and back together, leaving a gap that adds unnecessary strain to these parts. The base is nothing special you wouldn't find on any cheap chair. The upper seat is pretty nice, especially for the price. I'm a 6'1" 240lb man (athletic), and it isn't remotely "too small" as some have said, so adjust your expectations for your body type. The cushion is firm, but comfortable in my opinion. I really like this chair! It has a firm back and is comfortable to sit in. I like also how you can adjust the legs so that the chair doesn't wobble. It has a smaller profile than a typical office chair, so I can slide it under the desk when I'm not using it. The directions were straightforward, and it was easy to assemble - it took me about 10 minutes by myself only because you have to be careful not to screw the seat in all the way to make sure the four screws that hold the seat in place line up with the holes (and then tighten everything up at the end).
