This is a classy take on the popular natural stone LED lamps. Unlit, it looks more like a decorative stone sitting on a shelf than a light fixture, which is exactly what I was hoping for. It blends into the room nicely instead of screaming "LED lamp." When illuminated, it still looks attractive, although on my particular stone it becomes a little harder to tell that it is actually stone rather than a molded plastic diffuser. Even so, it gives off a nice ambient glow and works well as a decorative accent. My biggest complaint is the color of the light. The LED is a very warm yellow, which was not what I expected from the product photos. I was hoping the light would better complement the color of the stone itself. A more neutral white—or even a slightly green-tinted LED—would have done a better job highlighting the natural appearance of the material.
