This thing is amazing! I would prefer the option to have a softer yellow tone light in addition to the bright white, but it fits my needs. Needed a light out near the chicken coop/run but too far from nearest electrical feed to run anything permanent. This fits the bill. I have it on the mode where the light stays on low but comes on bright when approached or when it signals motion from a predator. Lights up the area very well for night time feeding/cleaning activities. I will remove the water from base and replace with sand before winter. I’m impressed with this dusk to dawn outdoor lamp post. It wasn’t very hard to put together, and seems good quality. The problem I foresee is someone with no electrical experience trying to put it together and install it. My husband is an electrician, and I’m glad.
