The bed looks gorgeous when assembled and is a great value for the price. I paid for expert assembly and it was well done. I haven’t used it much as if yet so can’t speak to durability. The Wayfair delivery process is exceptionally kloogy, nothing arrives on the anticipated dates - it’s either inconveniently prior or post (and changes). Making this bed is easy, our mattress is a Saatva Firm at 14”. Mattress drops nicely and fills the platform leaving a small gap to tuck sheets. Mattresses nowadays are very heavy but this bed allows picking up the corners without throwing out your back. Bed stays in place with no squeaking or cracking sounds. Ours arrived flawlessy. Only labeling this bed 4 stars due to the slats not being manufactured closer together. The slats should be 3 inches apart for the best support according to online resources but are 3.5 inches apart. They did not specify otherwise but that’s ok we just got some plywood to help. However outside of that it’s 5 stars all around, looks just like the photo, beautiful color, feels well built. My only complaint is on the shipping. They used fed ex which I hate. The driver left my package outside on the side walk instead of delivering to my front door. thankfully it was so heavy no one stole it. Make sure you have 2 people to pick it up. The package weighs like 150-200 pounds. My package also came damaged but thankfully, they used enough Styrofoam that it didn’t damage the frame. Loved this bed frame at first sight in the product pictures, especially the headboard and rounded legs. I ordered the Walnut finish and it unfortunately does not have the same WOW effect as the pictures suggested. I believe the Carmel color would be the way to go. The rest of the frame looks high end in Walnut. The headboard has a small hairline crack, which seems to be a common issue based on other reviews. The frame assembly was easy and took about 2 hours following the instructions. My package arrived as scheduled, unfortunately the hardware package inside had been opened already and all hardware parts were loose inside the box and damaging the frame in some spots, but Wayfair provided a discount when I called and made it right.
