The Mikasa French Countryside flatware set is a quaint design, versatile enough to coordinate with multiple decorating styles. It has a highly polished finish which I plan to hand wash and dry most of the time, although Im sure it would hold up well in the dishwasher. The weight and balance is good, but I find it slightly more cumbersome to use than another set I have. In my pictures I show another older European sized set that is slightly larger, and a vintage set that I consider human sized, along with the Mikasa set in the center. I would prefer to buy American made these are made in Vietnam. Overall, I am happy with my purchase, and Wayfair has competitive prices and fast shipping.. Ritzby. USA. Mon Sep 14 2026

Let's make things easy. What you buy should pair with all of your occasions. Period. Classically simple, formally balanced. It's that easy. Worry less with Satin Lewin.

The parchment dinnerware collection features a gentle gray border embellished with a beautifully detailed scroll design. This chic and elegant collection is accented by the inner and outer borders of platinum. Crafted of porcelain. Dishwasher safe but not microwave safe. When washing gold or platinum-banded dinnerware in the dishwasher, use a gentle cycle and turn off the dishwasher before the drying cycle, or allow the dinnerware to cool before handling it.
