Looks great, but the dowel design is a safety concern. The ladder looks very nice and is mostly functional. I had to add a 2x4 backer so I could mount it properly to the studs, which worked fine with appropriate lag bolts. My big issue is the screws that hold the dowels in place. Theyre too short to get a good bite, and some dont catch at all (you can see this in the photo). As a result, the dowels now spin freely in their holes. It looks nice, but I have serious concerns about using it to its full potential. Spinning rungs are a safety hazard and make it impossible to get a secure grip. Longer screws, or a different retention method, would fix this. As it stands, I cant recommend it for anything beyond light use. The pull up bar does have long screws though that you can get a good bite into to at least I can use that, but I am constantly having to tighten it. There are ones I see available that have more of an oval dowel which seems far superior to this in hindsight.. Courtney. Fort Mcmurray, AB. Wed Oct 14 2026

3 Step Ladder Folding Step Stool for Adults with Wide Anti-Slip Pedal, Lightweight Portable Foldable Step Ladders for Home Kitchen Office

I love this step ladder! The orange is really fun. I do not like that the pieces were shrink wrapped BEFORE being assembled as it made the unwrapping process really annoying, but other than that I loved the purchase and it works as it should.. Krissy. Thu Jul 30 2026

This ladder has been a great addition to our riverfront property. We use it as a way to get in and out of the river at our house, and without it, climbing back out is next to impossible without slipping around and getting covered in mud and dirt. It feels sturdy, and so far it has held up very well to regular use and being exposed to the elements. I can already tell this ladder is going to make our summers a lot more enjoyable. Having easy access to the river makes people much more likely to jump in and cool off, and it's made spending time by the water even better.. Angie. US. Fri May 29 2026

This is the second one of these I bought (one for me and one for my son), and I’m about to buy another for my other son (3rd son will be next). They are easy to carry through the house and they fold up. Flat. Definitely better than lugging in the big one from the garage. Love these!!. Cyndi. Sussex, NJ. Mon Jun 29 2026

I needed a ladder to stain a beam in a 12 foot tall bedroom. I'm petite (110 lbs), so I wanted something lightweight, that I could manuever myself. This worked great for that task. The rungs are very narrow, but for my frame it wasn't an issue.
