I am OBSESSED! We purchased two for under our television and they are gorgeous! Note they scratch easily but nothing you can’t fix with a sharpie. They are a pain to build the instructions are a little confusing- just make sure you know which direction will be the front and back of the unit before you assemble; we had to rebuild one of ours. The doors were pretty annoying to get aligned but I don’t think that is unique to this product. One of the six doors does not function with the push to close so we have to push back the lever manually when we want to close it but the door itself works. However, after reading the details and purchasing on “blind” faith, I must say that I’m very pleased with the final results! This easy-to-assemble piece instantly added a classy vintage vibe to my office. With a ton of shelf space, it perfectly marries design and practicality, making it one of my new favorites. My only critique is about the wood and material quality. It works nicely for what it is, but it can be easily scratched or dented, especially during assembly. I hit a snafu when building this. Instructions were very easy to follow and all parts were labeled well. When I got to step 11 the page was blank along with the next page. I didn’t have instructions for steps 11-14. I called and they responded quickly but did not have a pdf they could send me. Since I had all the parts laying around my family room I decided to start from the back of the instructions and group the pieces together so I could narrow down what pieces were from the missing steps. I was able to figure out where they went and continued to complete the building process. I absolutely love the look and how sturdy it is. The sideboard arrived quickly and was well packaged. Despite the heaviness (120 lbs), I was pleased to see the outer edges double or triple protected with cardboard. A two person job for sure to unload into the house. Thankfully, assembly was straightforward although it did take a little over an hour to complete. The cabinet is substantial in weight and dimension. The front side has three sliding drawers banked by two full height side doors. The wood on the front has curved grooved elements that all fit together to make one contiguous pattern. The difficulty is that its hard to make the drawers all close in perfect alignment. Looks nice, took a while to assemble, but not a bad process. It is quite low to the ground though. I’m under 5’ tall and I have to bend down to reach in the top drawer! I’m thinking of getting furniture risers to lift the height a bit. Be sure to check the height dimensions and know what you want.
