This desk is even better than I expected! It’s very sturdy and feels like hard wood (not a scrap of veneer in sight!) and is a perfect little writing desk. It’s going in our guest room so it’ll get light use but it’s definitely up to the challenge for daily use. The wood is similar in tone and texture to butcher block but adds good warmth to the room. This modern fluted solid wood desk is absolutely stunning!! I was worried that the 60”W would be too large but it ended up being perfect in my home office. There is a concealed compartment in the back to manage cords. Love it! There was a small section of damage in the left drawer but it will be easy to hide. Shipping was fast and it was packaged well.
