When I receive this film, I did not think it would look very good as the geometric shapes were larger than expected. Once I installed it, I loved the pattern and how easy it was to install. So far so good! This is an affordable temporary solution to my mirrored closet situation. I didn’t want my bed facing mirrors for feng shui reasons and I plan to swap out the mirror doors later once I’m more settled in. On the meantime this is a great way to displace the mirror surface without losing the light. I will be buying more to finish the effect. This is an "easy to put up" way to make small windows beautiful and NOT see through! I have a small window by my front door and I am not always dressed until late morning (hey at 72, I've earned my late mornings!) so I like to be able to look and see outside without someone at my door getting a good look at ME in my PJs! This is beautiful, but I actually can't see through it enough to get an idea of who is outside, so I may use it to dress up my shower area instead. But it DOES let in a lot of light and is BEAUTIFUL on a window! (See pictures.) If you want to cover up a window but still let in light, this is the item for you. If your window is larger than 2 X 3 you will need to order two sheets. All you do is peel off the backing and use the included flat scrapper to wipe any bubbles out and it STICKS and STAYS! This is a great idea and it would look much better if I wasn't the installer. Good news is that there is more if I decide to work on it more. I ordered it because I live alone and the open glass unnerved me at night. I have a shade but can't put it lower than the center because I can't let my cat reach it.
