It is well made, and it took me about 45 minutes to an hour to put it together by myself. It was heavy I suppose because of the push back mechanism underneath it. There was a lot of bolts to secure for the side sections. It was all on a metal panels and difficult to match up the holes. That is what took so much time. Also, it was a tiny area to fit your hand in and turn the screw. It was not hard, but very awkward. Eventually, it all came together nicely. It has this mid century feel, and would look nice anywhere. The cushion is a high density foam and nicely firm. I think it will hold up over time.
