I am editing my review after a couple of days of use and “sitting” with our purchase. Pros, I like the design element and details of the piping along the front and rear of the table. It gives great movement. I like the fact that the table has large storage space and functionality. I like how large the table is. I don’t care that the table itself doesn’t look or feel like real wood. It looks like particle board and has a hollow sound when you tap the top of it. It also wears fingerprints easily so I am going to have to constantly wipe down the table. That is why I gave 45 stars. I like the table. The contours are nice and the wood-looking finish is great. Assembly is simple and took about 20 minutes because I’ve built many furniture pieces. The directions are poor. It’s not clear that bolt (A) should be fastened first to leg (2) before applying hardware to brace (3). When fastening leg (2) to tabletop (1), very slender fingers (or patience) is needed to secure the hardware without cross threading the bolt. No hardware is indicated in the drawing to secure brace (3) to tabletop (1). All of these are easy fixes by clarifying assembly instructions. More bizarre are caps (D) which absolutely should match the unit instead of being white in color. The white caps really stick out and greatly take away from the nice look of the table. The coffee table was well packaged and arrived safely. It's quite a nice table for the price point and assembly was fairly straightforward, and took about an hour. My only small gripe with the table itself is that the legs are just a plain and cheap looking brown that don't match the table. I feel like they could have added a few dollars to the price and included matching legs. one other thing to note, which I show in the photos, is that the instructions indicate to put the white "plastic buckles" in to secure the panel on one side so they are on the outside of the table. What? Honestly, the panel was a snug fit in the slots anyway, so I didn't need/use them. but if you do need them, put them INSIDE the table, behind the drawer. Nobody wants to look at those!. I wanted a solid wood coffee table (absolutely no manufactured wood whatsoever) and this coffee table is indeed completely solid wood. Has a nice natural grain. Arrived in perfect condition and assembly was a breeze. The drawers are small in height but surprisingly quite deep. I took off one star though because I feel, for the price it’s at, the drawers could stand to be sturdier — they feel kind of flimsy, kind of cheap — and the wood could be thickerheavierof a bit higher quality.
