The instructions were not easy to follow at all. We have the same exact couch in a grey but I don’t remember it being this hard to set up. The couch is solid though and we must have liked it for us to get 2 of it! This one is in our family room and it has a beautiful royal blue color to it. If you are looking for a less bulky set that is still long and has room, this should do it. It does not look cheap. But I will say this - from knowledge of the other grey one we have, the fabric starts to have piles on it after a short time and this happens with age and from rubbing (sitting) upon it. I am now seeing that there might be ways to remove piling from furniture. I got the curry velvet color. It looks quite different than the color in the picture but I was expecting that from other photos. More deep orangey red brown than tan. But I actually think it's so beautiful! Took me and my boyfriend about 45 minutes to set it up, it was fairly easy. The bottom cushion is firm and the back cushions are nice and soft. I got it for my therapist office and I think that is a perfect combination for clients sitting on it regularly. I’m honestly really impressed with this set so far. The packaging came in 4 heavy boxes, so be prepared — this is definitely not one of those super light, flimsy furniture sets. You’ll probably want help moving and assembling it. Assembly took longer than I expected, but once everything started coming together, you could really tell the quality was there. The fabric texture feels soft and rich, the frame feels durable, and the overall look is very elevated and modern. Right now I only have the smaller chair from the set fully assembled in my space, and I already love it. It blends perfectly with my setup and gives that cozy but sophisticated look I was going for. I considered giving it 5 stars, because of the price. It's pretty good for a cheap couch. It looks nice, but when you sit on it, you can tell it's cheap. Cushions are not super thick.
