So the piece arrived in a pretty beat up box. Most of the pieces are still in great shape (I’ve noticed one small scratch), but it’s missing all of the hardware. So either the hardware fell out in transport or they never sent it. I haven’t been able to put the bed together. That said pieces look good and the instructions seem decent. I’m hoping to get new parts from the company because I think it could be a nice piece of furniture but for now I don’t recommend this item. I think I could go buy the items from the hardware store but that seems more expensive and not super easy. Update I received the hardware in the mail after talking to Wayfair. The bed took an hour to assemble with two people. It’s pretty sturdy. If I’m being nitpicky about it I wish the pattern on the headboard lined up perfectly but overall I’m happy. The bed went together fairly easily, even with one person! For a few of the steps, I had it leaning on the wall with a blanket for extra protection, but the pieces went together smoothly with little extra effort. The most time consuming part was simply attaching the bed slats, which was quick with a drill.
