The bed went together fairly easily, even with one person! For a few of the steps, I had it leaning on the wall with a blanket for extra protection, but the pieces went together smoothly with little extra effort. The most time consuming part was simply attaching the bed slats, which was quick with a drill. Absolutely love it. Great quality. Solid wood. Solid construction. The wooden slats start in the middle with dowels and then get screwed in every other slat. The only flaw I found is on the center of the board going across the headboard. Otherwise no issues. This is pictured. Sad that my pillows cover the beautiful headboard.
