The product can be assembled and installed in a matter of minutes using common tools. All hardware needed for assembly is included. The base of the mailbox post is designed to be mounted over a 4 x 4 x 72 pressure-treated pine post (not included). Note: Actual dimensions of pressure-treated 4 x 4 x 72 post are 3 ½” x 3 ½” x 72”.
