Super simple and quick to put together, also very easy to adjust into a bed or back into a futon. Really pretty color but it’s suede not leather, either way it has a leather aesthetic. This is an elegant, firm sofa that was easy to assemble solo, and this is not something I usually do. I did have a friend help me flip it up onto its legs after assembly. The box arrived really beat up, and I had misgivings as I was unwrapping, but the contents were protected. I have now had this sofa for over a year; I slept on it for three months while fostered cats and kittens took over my bedroom. It would work to use it as a daily bed, but it is VERY firm. The blue velvet fabric has held up nicely despite 2 cats (who fortunately, do not scratch it). I have received many compliments on it; it is the focal point of the sitting area. I was able to get it put together without any trouble, and once assembled, it feels sturdy for a smaller, basic sofa. This is definitely a smaller-scale sofa, so I wouldn’t purchase it expecting a big, plush living-room couch that you’re going to sink into for hours. The instructions were not easy to follow at all. We have the same exact couch in a grey but I don’t remember it being this hard to set up. The couch is solid though and we must have liked it for us to get 2 of it! This one is in our family room and it has a beautiful royal blue color to it. If you are looking for a less bulky set that is still long and has room, this should do it. It does not look cheap. But I will say this - from knowledge of the other grey one we have, the fabric starts to have piles on it after a short time and this happens with age and from rubbing (sitting) upon it. I am now seeing that there might be ways to remove piling from furniture.
