I would give a 10 if I could. I have a bad back and so finding a chair that is comfortable for both short and long periods of time is crucial. This chair is amazing! It hugs just right at the bottom of the shoulder blades and but is designed with a slight flair so as you recline a bit it to adjusts to hold your back without you feeling stiff or in a position that isn’t real. We actually like that they provide the ability to have dinner and then if we choose continue at the table with conversation or even games for long periods of time thereafter. This dining set is gorgeous. It’s truly a statement piece. It’s very heavy and seems to be good quality. The chairs are solid wood and sturdy. I love the look of them. My only complaint is that the table top came covered in a powder that is plastered to the surface and I have to scrape it off as it won’t just wipe off. It was very easy to put together.
