This desk is very solid and heavy. It assembled relatively easily. The drawers came assembled which is great. The only difficulty in assembly was aligning holes that cannot be seen easily. One very nice feature that was not explained in the description is that the drawers and slanted leg can be reversed so you can orient the slanted leg on either side of that matters in your particular set up.. Different in a good way! This is exactly the look I wanted, and I'm thrilled the cream color part is NOT painted wood. Its linear versus L-shape placement options are appealing too. We chose the former for this spot but like knowing that can change. One caution: assembly is time consuming and you’d better study and follow the pictorial instructions, not just wing it!
