I wanted a wide seated chair with a firm cushion as I spend a lot of time in it, I did want some sort of back support as I like to sit up straight. I understand what people are saying when they say there is 'no support'. I have to sit all the way back (I'm 5'4") to receive the back support. I bought a footrest and it seems to be helping with how close I have to sit to the desk to work (also changed out the wheels). This is a spacious chair! If you need the room, this is a great choice. Happy with these chairs. The faux leather definitely doesn’t feel like real leather, but I’m not that interested in sitting on dead cow skin LOL. There are some rough spots on the oak legs where they weren’t properly sanded, but there are solid oak. The seat is nice and wide. Easy to put together and comfortable to sit in. Love the swivel..
