A small chip on one of the drawers was an initial concern but Wayfair actually sent a real person to my home to fix it! Did a great job and cannot tell it was damaged a bit in the delivery process. This desk is countertop height. I did not read the measurements as I assumed it was a standard desk height. I took 5 inches off each leg with a saw and it looks great. A little more work than I wanted to do but this is a solid well constructed desk. The top is preassembled you just have to assemble the legs. Very easy.
