I just received the pendants today. I like them except I can’t figure out how to put them together. The black rectangular piece doesn’t seem to attach to the shade in any way. The socket is much smaller than the top opening of the shade. Seems like a piece is missing. I may have to send these back unfortunately. 12/16/2018: Wayfair’s customer service helped resolve this problem. The original shades sent were incorrect. Once I figured that out, I notified Wayfair’s customer service and included photos, they responded quickly and arranged for the correct shades to be shipped. Hopefully they will arrive tomorrow. Getting the shades ready for shipping and having them shipped has taken a little more time than I would like but generally very happy with Wayfair for their attention and concern.. Roxanne. Amazing lights. I've ordered some pretty high end lights from RH and Shades of Light and these are the exact same quality. I'm officially over the lighting markups from other stores. I was worried about the length of the rod since there wasn't much info on how it's trimmed but it turned out that I didn't need to trim anything, it comes with a bunch of segments that are varying sizes so you can get it to the length you're looking for. Once they're screwed together it's completely seamless. The texture of the glass is awesome and looks way better than the still images on here. I'm using the Philips e12 color changing bulbs with them so they can dim incredibly low for parties or even change colors for halloween, etc. The one issue I had was with the hardware, there was a single gold cap that was cross-threaded and I couldn't even fix with a tap. I emailed Wayfair and they didn't have replacement hardware so they sent an entire extra light which we'll be donating with the close matching nut I found.
