Pros: shorter but still substantial hutch, lower shelf, 2 drawers, over 40", nice color, nice looking design, assembly is logical and intuitive. I'd been looking for a desk with exactly this type and configuration of storage options forever. Cons: flimsy (my elbow weight bends the surface while typing on a laptop), drawers are too shallow (~2"), exposed screw/fastening holes, you have to drill/force the holes for assembly of lower shelf and for the hooks, odd surface/base alignment, edges are sharp and uncomfortable.. Jessica. Detroit, MI. Tue Sep 15 2026

This modern writing desk features a waterfall edge and decorative arched drawer fronts that bring quiet Art Deco influence to Scandinavian or Japandi interiors, softening the room without overwhelming it. At just under four feet wide, this 47 inch office desk fits comfortably into compact home office spaces, bedrooms, or guest rooms where every inch counts.

The desk was sturdy. I was able to build it on my own in about 2 hours, very easy to assemble. The only complaint is that one part didn’t fit properly. I adjusted multiple times. The easy I have it set up it doesn’t show, but other than that, I really liked it. Maria. Tue Aug 04 2026

this modern home office desk combines sophisticated design with workspace efficiency. Its hand-applied multi-layer lacquer finish ensures scratch resistance, while rich tones and sleek surfaces elevate any room as a versatile centerpiece. Designed for practicality, it features a hidden organizer, built-in dual outlets for charging, and a spacious ergonomic surface to accommodate laptops, notebooks, drinks, and decor. Ideal for professionals seeking a clutter-free, space-efficient workstation in home offices or compact bedrooms.

I absolutely love this desk. I love that I can put both size monitors on top and it frees up the bottom part. There’s lots of shelving space on the inside and also the three drawers provide a sufficient amount of storage. The only downside to all of this was the instructions and the number of pieces that came in the box to put this whole thing together. There were a couple of instances where some pieces weren’t lining up, so my husband had to do a little bit of adjusting, but nothing major. But the walnut color is beautiful and it looks elegant. Another great Wayfair find!. Cheryl. Las Cruces, NM. Fri May 08 2026
