When I see something described as solid wood I expect the whole thing to be solid wood. The backing is flimsy MDF as are the drawer bottoms. The drawers are extremely delicate I would not purchase this unit to store anything. Assembly took 4 hours (with screw gun) and I’ve built a lot of furniture. There was an improperly constructed hole preventing one of the fasteners working to hold the top on (ultimately not necessary for function, luckily). There is never enough storage in the dining room. This Draper Mid Century 3 Door Sideboard Buffet made from solid hardwood, fills so many needs. It features three doors that open to three adjustable shelves. The sideboard buffet provides plenty of storage for your fine china, cutlery, or linens with the side cabinet and drawer. The top presents a lovely smooth surface to display your barware or serving pieces.

This is a really good find. I'm so used to seeing cheap, hard to assemble furniture online. This is quite the opposite. It is well made and sturdy. I almost always pay to have something assembled, but in this case the process was so easy I did it myself, quickly. The supplies are all well labeled and the instructions are easy to follow.
