First, the Good the chair looks great and is a fantastic option for a small room. The bottom cushion is soft and supports me at a 200 pounds. I love the fold out side table on the right. The mechanism is solid and very stable. It’s easy to put together, and is solidly built. The not so good it’s small. It does not sit that high off the ground so make sure you look at the measurements before purchasing. I am 6’2” and my knees bend up as the seat is lower than a traditional chair. Also, I’ve tried my best to love it as it does look good in the space, but it’s just not a comfortable chair. The back does not have a lot of padding and is very stiff. The armrest are more narrow than my wrist so you can’t put anything on it. I think if this is a chair to put in a small space, and will not be used often, then this is a perfect buy. I was worried there were no reviews yet, but took a chance. I’ve been looking for a navy blue velvet arm chair that was a mid century modern style, had deep seat, but not too wide for our space (less than 36 inches). The chair is as pictured and also the specs are accurate. However, I should have realized the back is not as high as our old chair but I’ve improvised and added a pillow for me to rest my head. The legs also seem darker than in the pics. It is comfortable to sit in so far and I prefer a firm seat. The back pillow has a zipper so you can take it out to clean or you can change the insert padding and it is reversible. The seat cushion also has a zipper and is removable but you can’t use the other side because it has velcros. Love the deep navy blue color and the soft velvet.
