The bust is a good reproduction and will be a welcome addition to my home. However, when viewed from a specific angle, it becomes apparent the woman's face has a weird, asymmetrical contortion to it.. Jerry. Dayton, OH. Wed Apr 29 2026

Though the history of the Roman empire is awash with the feats of emperors, no tales told were nearly as cruel as those of the formidable emperor Caracalla. Though history hasn't been kind to the tyrannical monarchy of his reign, this bust statue of the ruler the Romans feared is important for the history and culture it represents. Caracalla fancied himself a military genius, the reincarnation of Alexander the Great. Their impressively, life-size sculptural bust is cast in quality designer resin.

The Young Royal Greek Torso brings a collected, museum-found feeling to a console or mantel. Made from composite with convincingly timeworn breaks, it captures the look of carved stone while keeping placement easy. A metal base gives it a traditional, gallery-style presence that layers naturally with other décor in a living room or entryway.

When King Leonidas and the three hundred Spartan Hoplites under his command held off the Persian army at the Thermopylae pass, the courage and sacrifice of these Greek warriors entered into the realm of legend for evermore. This black porcelain sculpture depicts one of those brave soldiers equipped with his spectacular helmet with plumes, a mask that can be placed or removed to reveal the warrior's face thanks to a magnet system shield, lance, and armor. The wealth of detail, added to the decoration, the precisely modeled anatomy and the meticulous ornamentation demonstrate an extraordinary degree of virtuosity. Made in black porcelain and decorated with metallic copper, blue and black enamels. The shield is painted with black luster with a marble effect while the helmet is decorated with aged silver luster. The result is a striking and powerful figure that is at once noble and elegant.

The "Bust of " by Eichholtz celebrates a marble head of Ammon in The Met's Greek and Roman art collection. This powerful Roman portrait combines a classical Greek image of the bearded with the ram's horns of the Egyptian Ammon. This contemporary interpretation is handcrafted to perfection. Its striking resemblance to the original celebrates timeless artistry and mythological splendor.
