Mexican Garden Statue

Death personified with grace and humor, Catrina poses in a sexy green dress with flowers by her feet. As always, she wears a wide-brimmed hat. Zhane is inspired by the celebrated cartoon developed by José Guadalupe Posadas to poke fun at Mexico's high society during the early 1900's. Revealing Catrina's skeletal figure, the Oaxacan clay sculpture is painted by hand.Catrina's head can be removed.

Nice detail. Packed well. Head swivels which makes placing her in the decor easier.. Susan. US. Sat Nov 19 2022

These are just so beautiful. We will have three unique and beautiful colors in this design.. Sizes and color tones may vary a bit since each is handmade and hand painted. Keep that in mind. Photos are a representation of what you will receive, same design just each one of a kind as each is hand painted. If you place them outside, a liberal coating of clear sealer will insure it's longevity. Painstakingly handmade and hand painted, these are rustic and therefore may have some knicks, scratches, welds, etc. Do not expect a perfect piece. There will be scratches on the paint. That is normal and inherent with these pieces.

Very well made , great paint job !. Anonymous. Thu Oct 02 2025

Classic art is busting out at the seams! If Michelangelo's famous David was resculpted today by someone who'd recently been to a fast food joint, he just might have conjured up this super-sized fellow! I purchased this for my husband for his birthday and he loved it. We get many great comments about our “Fat David,” who stands proud welcoming guests into our home.. Janet. MO. Wed Jul 15 2026

Large Tequila Rustic Sculpture, Rustic Metal Agave Plants for Outdoor Patio Yard Mexican Plant Garden（2Pack ）

I added these red agave to the orange/blue and green ones to provide variety. Plant don't survive the heat here in the low desert, so decided it was time to get something that would survive the sun and dry heat. The three of these worked out perfect.. Russell. Palm Springs, CA. Mon Jul 27 2026

Goddess of fertility, mother of the stars, and grandmother of humanity, Coatlicue is the supreme and sacred embodiment of maternity in the Aztec world. Often known as the patron of those who die in childbirth, the deity is exquisitely depicted by the Angel Ceron Artisan Association in Mexico. The team uses ceramic and mineral dyes to portray Coatlicue in the same splendor the ancestral Aztec artisans once did, bringing this exquisite sculpture to life.

Our obelisk-inspired, Spirit Poles provide a positive, reaffirming message to those around you and can be enjoyed during the day and night! Their vibrant colors draw the eyes attention to them no matter where they are placed (yard, deck or patio), and their essence can boost our spirits when the vagaries of life seem overwhelming. The solar powered LED's inside each Spirit Pole automatically come on at night, illuminating the pole for hours. Their all-weather construction provides protection against the elements. When we all could use a way to brighten our day (and night) a Spirit Pole in your yard lets your friends and neighbors know you can always see the sunny side of life!

I absolutely love my solar art pole! It adds so much to my garden!. Sandra. IA. Tue Aug 01 2023

In Mexico, Catrina appears for Day of the Dead dressed in a blend of high fashion, sophistication and humor. As always, she wears a wide-brimmed hat. Zhane is inspired by the celebrated cartoon developed by José Guadalupe Posadas, to poke fun at Mexico's high society during the early 1900's. Revealing Catrina's skeletal figure, the Oaxacan clay sculpture is painted by handcar's head can be removed.

I just love Catrina. She is elegant and she’s all dressed up to be part of the aristocracy that she represents. The colors pop on this black Catrina and she’s perfect to display during Halloween. Nothing ghoulish or creepy, just a beautiful piece to be appreciated as art. Highly recommended!. Maria. Coral Gables, FL. Tue Oct 01 2019

Invite divine serenity into every day with this Eastern garden statue, replicated exclusively for Design Toscano. One of these favorite types of Asian sculpture, this collectible maiden statue is intricately sculpted with a traditionally wrapped skirt fashioned to imitate the intricate patterns often embroidered in gold thread. This mythological angel is a distinctively beautiful Buddhist sculpture boasting an antique stone finish that's also quite at home in an indoor gallery.

Beautiful she is .... Josephine. Charlotte, NC. Sun Sep 06 2026

This garden art piece features a sculpted bell suspended from a curved metal frame to bring a melodic element to outdoor spaces. The metal stand includes decorative scrolled accents and four feet for placement on flat surfaces. Distressed details across the surface provide a weathered look that suggests a history of time spent in the elements. Its bell features a textured pattern and a central clapper to create sound when moved by a breeze or a hand. We also love that the handcrafted construction adds a unique touch to this accent.

I love this. I bought a 3 tiered one on a trip years ago and this matches perfectly.. Julie. Lincoln, NE. Sun May 17 2026

The 'Our Lady of Guadalupe' Figurine measures 12.5" tall, 5.75" long and 4.5" deep approximately. It weighs about 1.75 pounds.

What a show! When threatened, the Australian Frilled Lizard opens its yellow-hued mouth, unfurls the frilly pleated skin around its head and hisses, then turns tail and bolts to the nearest tree! This naturalistic replica catches this exotic member of the dragon family in full display, casting the Frill neck in quality designer resin with a hand-painted finish. The Design Toscano exclusive animal sculpture is a unique addition to any garden or naturalistic setting.

This little guy is awesome! If you want a 'cute' lizard, this isn't for you. But if you're looking for a lizard that looks like it could bite your fingers off, get this guy. Realistically painted. Made of resin material, not light weight. He weighs 3 or 4 pounds. This little guy looks like he's ready to take care of business, or he's saying 'back off and leave me alone'! Love it!!!. B. Perfect for your home or garden, each Painted Saguaro Cactus is hand-chiseled out of recycled steel oil drums by Haitian artisans using techniques first developed by Georges Liautaud in the late 1950s when he chalked out his first design on a flattened steel oil drum and then cut it out by hand with a mallet and chisel. As each piece is handmade, their final dimensions and finish may vary slightly.

Really pretty and well-made. Looks beautiful on my southwestern style patio!. Christine. Hutchinson, KS. Thu May 25 2023

Our obelisk-inspired, Solar Spirit Poles provide a positive, reaffirming message in an often maddening world that can be enjoyed and appreciated 24/7! Our "new" Joan Coleman designed, "Must Always Have Flowers" Spirit Pole provides a whimsical, yet multi-layered theme with its vibrant colors, pictorial settings and inspiring message. The solar-powered LED light strand inside each Spirit Pole automatically activate at night, illuminating the pole for hours. Vibrant green and deep red cacti each crowned with a soft pink flower. Made from study metal, and with prickly spikes that captures the essence of these iconic desert plants. Circular base for easy, balanced tabletop placement.

All metal cactus sculpture. True to height. Looks great in our desert landscape backyard. The problem I had was that upon opening the box, one of the yellow stems was broken off. Took a picture for the return. No problem, Wayfair sent a replacement out immediately. Surprised they didn’t want the broken one returned. They said to 1. keep it, 2. donate it, or 3. throw it away. Well we kept it and my wife just used the broken pieces elsewhere in her garden. To protect it from our blazing sun here, I sprayed it with a clear coat of sun protection. Will have to wait til the end of summer to see how it holds up. If it wasn’t for the first one being broken, I would have rated 5 stars, but 5 stars for the speed of the replacement.. B. Newhouse. Artisan Luis Morales of Mexico crafts a charming ceramic Catrina to grace your mantel or shelf. Formed by hand from clay, her ensemble is carefully painted in red with white flowers and ruffles. Her hair is braided and she holds a magnificent platter. The elegant figure is based on a satirical etching created by Mexican artist José Guadalupe Posada around 1910-1913. With his etching, Posada poked fun at those Mexican natives who tried to emulate the fashion and habits of the European aristocracy. Today, la Catrina has become the instantly recognizable icon of Día de los Muertos (Mexico's Day of the Dead).

The sculpted bust of a jaguar warrior unearthed in Texcoco inspires Zhane in the creation of this sculpture. Ancient Aztecs believed the jaguar to be associated with the god of night, and to become a jaguar one had to capture at least four enemies. Jaguar warriors, or ocelopilli, were used to capture enemies to be sacrificed to the gods. They would wear jaguar fur and claws for they believed the items would make them stronger and braver. They fought with wooden swords studded with obsidian.

Artisan Luis Morales of Mexico crafts a remarkable ceramic Catrina to grace your mantel or shelf. Formed by hand from clay, her ensemble refers to that of the main character in the 1944 film, Maria Candelaria. Her gown is carefully painted in purple with lilac flowers and lacy gold trim. Her hair is braided and she holds a basket filled with fruits and vegetables. The elegant figure is based on a satirical etching created by Mexican artist José Guadalupe Posada around 1910-1913. With his etching, Posada poked fun at those Mexican natives who tried to emulate the fashion and habits of the European aristocracy. Today, la Catrina has become the instantly recognizable icon of Mexico's Day of the Dead.

Love my new garden sculpture! It was well packed for shipping and arrived in mint condition. It is solid/heavy and will be quite stable. I did think (per the picture online) that it would look a little more antiqued or vintage. In fact, it is lighter in color. I believe it will weather and age over time in my garden bed.. Lorena.
