Mexican Ceramic Food Warmer

There's a moment, when the conical lid lifts and the steam escapes, that a kitchen becomes a Mediterranean home. This authentic tagine pot is handmade in Tunisia by Fair Trade artisans using techniques passed down through generations — hand-thrown from 100% European fire clay, hand-glazed, and hand-painted so that no two are ever alike. The iconic cone circulates steam to self-baste your food, coaxing stews, braises, and couscous into deep, tender flavor with almost no added fat. Lead-free, non-stick, and oven-safe to 650°F, it travels from flame to table, where the vibrant Bohemian pattern does the talking. Loved by thousands of home cooks — and unlike mass-produced cookware, every purchase supports artisan families in Tunisia. Medium (3.1 Qt) serves 2–4; Large (5.5 Qt) serves 4–6. Blue, Red, or Turquoise.

Inspired by traditional Spanish and Mexican pottery, the Talavera dinnerware collection showcases timeless blue-and-white design with intricate blue patterns set against a crisp white base. Evoking the look of hand-painted ceramics, this classic dinnerware brings Old World charm and modern versatility to the table, making it ideal for both everyday meals and special occasions while adding warmth, character, and enduring style to any tablescape.

Very cute and look nice with the vancasso bowls. I thought Talavera pattern would originate in Mexico but these are made in China (I didn’t look close enough at description because I was more attracted by the cobalt and white pattern). One tray has a small blue blemish on the white interior glaze but not enough for me to send them back. That’s why only four stars, and that the label warns against leadmercury so maybe I’ll put a piece of waxed paper in the slots when I slip in the tortillas. Anyway, it’s tacos for dinner tonight.. A longstanding heritage, made new for your tabletop or bar collection, 10 Strawberry Street Mexican Glassware is the stunning result of artistry meeting function. Since the 1500s, when glassblowing was first introduced to North America, artisans in Puebla have preserved this traditional technique—blowing into a metal conduit to shape and spin glass heated to a molten state in a classic hearth. Passed down through generations, this craft continues today with an eco-friendly twist. Each piece is made from recycled cola bottles—each color uniquely forged by a different artisan—and is completely lead-free, ensuring they are as sustainable and safe as they are timeless and beautiful. However, this cultural art is increasingly at risk, as fewer in the upcoming generations are training in the skill, making each handcrafted piece a true treasure of tradition.

The Flat Casserole is perfect for the slow cooking of stews and casseroles, but due to its low profile, perfect for rice and seafood stews such as Paella. Length 16 (including handles), Width 13.25, Height 5, Diameter 11.5 and Capacity 4qt (filled comfortably without overflowing). Well suited for gas or electric ranges, and perfect for placing in an oven for finishing those rice dishes slowly. Since clay is a natural and porous material, it does not react with the food and causes a slow evaporation of steam from the pores. The moist enclosed interior results in food that is healthier and tastier as it requires less fat and liquids. The beautiful exterior finish makes for a great presentation for family style service. In the semi-desert region of Hidalgo, Mexico, our cazuelas are made by hand by artisans whose craft has been handed down for several generations.
