I needed a light fixture for a client's library renovation. Something masculine and substantial, that blended black and gold. Even though I had sufficient height in the room, I wanted to avoid a chandelier because it might feel too feminie. The Minka Chateau Nobles semi-flush mount perfectly fit my requirements. We installed this light fixture in a spare bathroom. We purchased it based only on the photo in the ad, never seeing it in person. My husband talked me into it because he liked the brassy, dark look of it and I only agreed to order it because of the hanging crystals. I was delightfully surprised at how lovely it is and I am absolutely recommending it for the classy and quality appearance of it. The faux crystals are not colorful but still quite pretty. If you like the ad picture then you will like it in person a lot more. We chose bulbs that protrude a bit from the bottom, because we like that appearance, but you can install smaller ones that don’t. This product is a traditional coordinated set that features a golden bronze finish and is constructed from hand-cast & sanded resin, painted and antiqued by hand.

The lamps are very fancy looking and love the bronze look, they also have some unique designs on them, which are nice but you don't really see that when you look at the lamps online. The only problem I had with them is that the table lamps do not tighten between the socket and the pole so it is a bit shaky. The cords are extremely long, which is good if you need that. We have our wrapped up a bit. The lampshades are very nice as well. The floor lamp is fine and is tight between the pole and bulb, so not a problem with that lamp. I would have given these lamps five stars except for the loose fit of the table lamps. The table lamps I thought used 3 way light bulbs but when I put one in it did not work, but when you use the switch one turn and no light comes on second turn and the light comes on, don't know why the 3 way does not work in either lamp. But in the floor lamp the 3 way works. So now I just put a 100 watt bulb in and will turn it twice before it comes on, very strange. But overall the lamps are very nice.. Kathleen. Nanuet, NY.
