Update to my review. Less than a year later and one spinner won’t spin in the wind at all now though it turns by hand. The other is only spinning on the top. Has anyone figured out how to fix it Took it apart, oiled screws and put back together and still isn’t working the same. I am a huge fan of iron art, and I love the phoenix. Not a normal yard art statue that you would find. Lots of egrets, herons, and peacocks. So when I saw this, I was absolutely thrilled. And when it arrived, even more so as the colors are absolutely brilliant. The pieces were very well packaged with bubblewrap and cardboard to avoid damage in transit. It was very easy to assemble and doesn't appear to easy come apart. They even included a "U" shaped stake to help keep it in place. The color is candy-apple (metallic-semi translucent), and the details are three dimensional, not just painted on, which makes it even more special. I absolutely recommend this piece.. Kimberly. I ordered the larger 26 inch size in the color blue. The finish of the agave is nice and looks like the online pictures. I had some difficulty inserting the bulb holder into the agave mounting point. My husband was able to push it into place, there weren’t threads to screw the holder into the mount as the instructions indicated. The solar light isn’t all that bright, but overall the agave does look nice in our front landscape. All metal cactus sculpture. True to height. Looks great in our desert landscape backyard. The problem I had was that upon opening the box, one of the yellow stems was broken off. Took a picture for the return. No problem, Wayfair sent a replacement out immediately. Surprised they didn’t want the broken one returned. They said to 1. keep it, 2. donate it, or 3. throw it away. Well we kept it and my wife just used the broken pieces elsewhere in her garden. To protect it from our blazing sun here, I sprayed it with a clear coat of sun protection. Will have to wait til the end of summer to see how it holds up. If it wasn’t for the first one being broken, I would have rated 5 stars, but 5 stars for the speed of the replacement.. B. Newhouse. This agave steak was such a pleasant surprise. The leaves feel mostly real and from a distance it looks extremely real. You will notice in the photos that the print on each leaf is exactly the same so that part makes it look a bit more artificial when you’re looking up close. I am so happy with this spinner. I painted mine turquoise if you are wondering, the don’t sell it like this. It’s just awesome! First it’s quite easy to assemble. The bearings on this are extremely well made! One spinner goes one direction the other another direction. It’s quite amazing. The top is meant to spin freely when the wind blows it will turn with the wind. So you will always have movement! Yet, the bottom pole is staked in the ground. Quite genius if you ask me! The pole is thick. Strong steel. It’s only two pieces and then the top part that spins and then the spinner. So you do not have these multiple poles bending and twisting. Only the two pieces. And it’s so strong. Not cheaply made! The spinners are beautiful, they were shipped very nicely in the box, separated from each other so they wouldn’t be bent or damaged. I appreciate things like that from a company. This spinner gets so many compliments from my neighbors since it’s in the front yard. I enjoy it. You should get one if you are thinking about it.
