I bought this because it was such a different design - not your typical pinwheel wind spinner! The colors are a little brighter than they look online, but they still look great! Now FYI, this thing arrives in about 40 different pieces. You will need two pairs of hands to put this together, took about an hour. The instructions weren't super helpful, so we pulled up the photo online and zoomed it as large as we could get it. Luckily my husband is a mechanical engineer, so he figured it out. This little object packs a big wallop. It's stunning against the night sky. My plan is to make raise it higher than the stake it comes with but the stake, at over 4 ft is great. It's a part of my planter bed and will reign over the planter. I have a street lamp on my property and as you can see in the 1st pic, it doesn't affect the auto on aspect. Update to my review. Less than a year later and one spinner won’t spin in the wind at all now though it turns by hand. The other is only spinning on the top. Has anyone figured out how to fix it Took it apart, oiled screws and put back together and still isn’t working the same.
