Because the solution is spray applied, rust is more evenly distributed, and the result is a more even coat of copper rust color that completely covers the entire front side of the panel. Galvalume - new galvanized steel, semi-sheen. No rust or color variation. Antique galvanized - antiqued steel, weathered, flat texture. No rust or color variation. The finish wears with time (can produce white rust with exposure to moisture), will continue to age with exposure, and may scratch (does have normal scratches from manufacturing).

Well my review is mixed. I love the look and I couldn’t find tin backsplash from anywhere else. Everything was faux tin so basically vinyl. These are not aluminum. Some sort of special galvanized so I hope they do not rust. Our problem came when we put a very mild masking tape on the tin to mark our cutting area. As you can see from the picture the paint came off! We were surprised that this would happen considering the cost. Very disappointed. Now I worry how much paint will come off when I clean it. It is easy to install and clean. First, apply a thick and uniform layer of adhesive to the wall, and then use a brush or roller to apply the wallpaper to the undried adhesive. Try to avoid brushing too much at once to prevent the adhesive from drying out.
