Low, long and sure to add a pop of color - the Veradek Corten Steel Long Box planter. Watch as the raw corten steel develops a rich patina finish, adding character to outdoor spaces like the backyard or patio. Its thick gauge corten steel construction ensures that rust develops on the surface of the planter ensuring the structural integrity of the planter body for years of use. In addition, all corten steel series planters are equipped with styrofoam insulation to help keep plants healthy in both hot and cold extremes. Veradek corten series planters are designed so you can be confident that your planter will hold up against weather related cracking and splitting. With the perfect balance of design, structure and purpose, the Corten Steel Long Box will pair well with your favorite flowers or plant arrangements. During the initial rusting phase, rust will drip from the surface of the planter. Veradek recommends placing an appropriate protective barrier between the planter and ground to ensure no stains are left behind.

I originally wanted to put this by our hot tub, but I am concerned the metal will rust near water. So instead I am going to use it with a faux plan under a patio to lessen the chance of rust. I wasn't expecting to have to assemble the planter but assembly was easy. I love that it has a shelf so it lifts the plant without having to use a lot of planting material. I think it works great for a faux plant but would not personally order for a real plant that requires watering.. Monica. Driftwood, TX. Tue Nov 03 2026
