This adapter is wonderful. If you’re thinking about getting it, just get it. It’s easy to put on. It’s a plate that goes under the main plate does not go facing down. It goes facing up.. the instructions is for about three different handles in the Delta family, however, the plate will be facing up, but you have to look at it very closely, it went on with a breeze.. You can easily adjust between the showerhead and hand shower with the VersaFlex Integral Diverter handle. The showerhead offers multiple modes, including full, massage, waterfall, spa, and pause, while the hand shower wand provides a total spray and push button pause mode for a non positive shutoff. We bought 2 of these to control shower heads that are on the opposite side of the shower and spray into the middle. I wanted them to match, so specifically bought these faucet controlled separate from the shower heads b/c the shower heads are different. The mechanism is different than I am used to (handle turns from 3'o'clock to about 10'o'clock) The further to the left, the hotter the water gets.
