This is a heavy 30" coffee table. Very easy to put together. I did it by myself - maybe 20 min. tops? Wood is nice - I think acacia wood which is sturdy. If you like the style it looks very much as pictured. I have 63" between the sofa chaise ends, and could have taken a 34 or 35" round, but I didn't want to have to scoot around it every time we sat down. 30" gives a place for things. As this table top is very heavy I appreciated to delivery guys unboxing it and assembling it. However, I would let them know that reading the instructions for this table is important as the position of the legs need to match the corresponding number on the base. I assembled the small version myself and could not figure out why this one seemed unstable until I looked at the numbers.
