Overall, I think the scarecrow set is really cute. However, I gave four stars because of the up finishing touches that are a little cause for concern. There was hot glue strands all over the scarecrows, some of the buttons on their clothes were broken and the clothing was cheap and fraying on the edges. This metal garden crow is really cool. It looks like something handmade, and has imperfections, but honestly just looks like a piece of art. The one I received has a small hole at the tip of its beak and I was not crazy about that, but I don't care enough to return. I will say it came packaged very well with protective wrapping around it as well as bubble wrap. When I opened it, I immediately loved the glowy purple paint splatter pattern on it. It's only visible under certain lighting but I love that extra detail of it and wasn't expecting it. It also comes with a bar that helps keep it staked in the ground if you chose to go that route.
