I'm very happy with the metal bed frame. Comfortable and sturdy. I have limited storage, so appreciate that I can store things underneath the frame (air conditioner during winter, winter clothes during summer, etc.). I attached the frame to a metal headboard, and it looks like the two go together. The frame seems pretty lightweight, but the person putting it together said it's sturdy. I ordered this for a guest bedroom, so it won't be getting daily use. I like the roominess under the bed allowed by the height of the bed frame, which makes it good for storage if you're inclined. The 14" tall frame gives about 12" of space under it. We purchased this in two sizes. They have performed different, so I am going to review each independent from each other. This purchase was for a king bed. It went together relatively easily, and I did it by myself. It probabaly took less than two hours. The metal is sturdy, the pieces went together well (some of the screws are tight and I needed a few breaks between - but that’s a good thing!). It has been used for over two years now and has held up great! No scratches, little to no squeaking, no slats falling outloosening, etc. I am happy with the quality and price point. This frame has worked out well for me. It's easy to assemble, and feels very sturdy. My only comment, and reason for 4 stars is the fact that there are two outward facing screws on each side of the bed that are silver, so very visible if there's nothing covering the bedframe.
