I bought these to help reduce the wind that we get on our deck. We have them attached to the railings. Last year we had to chase our furniture a few times during our wind storms but not this year. They worked very well as a wind break. They definitely had to be secured well to keep them in place. They look very nice and add to the look of our deck instead of taking away. The real wood, water-based stain panel design gives this privacy screen a stylish look in any yard. We recommend applying a stain every 6 months to maintain optimal color. Transparent or semi-transparent exterior stains will maintain the natural wood look, while solid stains will cover more of the natural wood grain. If the product goes longer than recommended without staining, it will need to be sanded and may require a semi-solid or solid stain. Our powder-coated aluminum posts prevent rusting and provide stability to your screen. This screen is no-dig and very easy to install without tearing up your yard or leaving large holes behind.

The metal screen is perfect for creating privacy and ambience in my backyardpatio. It does take a while to put the three panels together with the support railings since there are a lot of screws, but it’s not difficult. The pieces are manufactured well so there were no issues fitting pieces and putting screws into pre-machines holes. One person who is good with putting stuff together can do it in about 30-45 minutes. The panels are steady, but a strong gust of wind can knock them over if the wind hits them right. The screen is beautiful. I would like another color or more color choices. But the reason or reasons it did not gain 5 stars was due to a couple of minor challenges. First, it isn't as stable as I would have liked. It is a bit wobbly but if anchored in would be just fine. Second, the small channels that you have to place the screws in are very challenging to get into if you have larger hands, like my husband. You can really barely fit a tool into the channel. I had a few places in mind for the screen so it will work out for us but it won't be going outside. Easy to put together by myself. Took me about 35 minutes. Some of the metal to metal holes didn’t line up but all the other holes were pretty close enough to use the sharp screws. Haven’t bolted them to the porch floor yet so cannot review how well these stand up to high winds. Had a very strong urea smell so glad these are outside and not inside. This metal privacy screen provides just the right touch of beauty and function. Although we chose not to use it with the stands, it still provides that element of privacy we wanted for under our deck. It is sturdy and we anticipate it will hold up well to the elements. It did arrive missing some of the hardware but since we ended up not using the stands, it wasn’t that big of a deal.
