The quality of the awning seems very good and it is attractive. I would agree with all of the reviews I read about how hard it was to assemble. The biggest problem is that I think the reddish brown color just does not exist. I got what looks like the brown color. The boxes say reddish brown, but that is clearly not what they are. I bought these to help reduce the wind that we get on our deck. We have them attached to the railings. Last year we had to chase our furniture a few times during our wind storms but not this year. They worked very well as a wind break. They definitely had to be secured well to keep them in place. They look very nice and add to the look of our deck instead of taking away. We bought three of these to create some privacy from our neighbors at an awkward angle near our fence. They’re very pretty and do a great job of creating some privacy without being too harsh. Assembly wasn’t complicated, but it was tedious and a bit frustrating. You need to screw multiple nuts into bolts in very tight spaces and the parts are not machined well, so they don’t fit easily. Also, the tools they provide are nearly useless. After assembling the third one, my fingers were like raw hamburger. I recommend investing in a ratchet tool if you’re purchasing multiple screens. As others have said, they’re sturdy but aren’t going to sustain any significant wind. We installed them in soft ground with the included stakes but we will need to reinforce them as they’ll quickly lean. The flower design creates sharp edges that poke out and can easily hurt you. This is a fixed shutter-style product that is modular, DIY, and hand-crafted. The framework is made out of a beautiful commercial grade mill finish aluminum that is powder-coated and will not rust. The hardware is stainless steel and provides additional support to the durable frame. The powder-coating finishes are offered in black, bronze, copper, and pewter. It can protect furniture and floors, cool down in summer and keep warm in winter. It is fixed with both magnetic clips and magnetic rods, and the height can be adjusted. It can be machine washed, using mild detergent, and cannot be bleached. It can be turned over for drying or ironed.

These are in the style of a Roman shade, which is a nice concept for covering the glass panel in French Doors. They are magnetic, so easy to position up or drop down. However, instead of some type of metal or sturdy resin material, the “rod” inserts at the back of the shade are cheap plastic tubes which do not fit tightly enough or stay together very well— when inserting to the back of the curtain, the sections come apart. There are several colors to choose from, and the material is lightweight, but blocks even the strong sunlight we have in the desert. Let me start by saying that these are VERY nice privacy screens! They came quickly and were packaged very well. The color is stunning and they are HEAVY. I expect them to last for a VERY long time. However, if you live anywhere that has wind or sand for your ground, then the stakes that are sent with it are grossly inadequate! We live in Florida and we have only sand and LOTS of wind. So, we had to go buy rebar and bolts/screws to make sure they stayed in the ground. I spent an additional 30.00 to make it work. Also, please note that in the instructions it tells you to use "screw H" but there is no "H". Go through the list of items in front of the instruction booklet before starting to assemble so that you can make sure you know which pieces are which. There are also over 60 screws to put in, so a small drill or socket wrench will save you a LOT of time and trouble. This patio privacy screen seemed to instantly elevate our deck by creating more of a barrier between our deck and our neighbors, on one side.
