The sofa frame and tables are UV and weather resistant so shouldn't fade. The cushions are splash proof (so if any spills occur, pick up the cushion and give it a firm pat on the underside to encourage the droplets to roll off). However, the cushions should not be left outside or in damp conditions. Store them somewhere warm and dry. The frame is really sturdy once you put it together but the cushions come compressed one was OK but the others wow they are really flat as pancakes. I have little hope that they will revive. I’m waiting three days before I call to request new inserts for the cushions because everything else is really nice and it wasn’t too hard to put together. My husband is very handy. I’ll let you know how the cushions end up once I’ve given them three days. There were a few scratches on the frame, but I think I’ll be able to take a little spray paint and take care of it. This sectional is perfect for our smaller screened in porch. I love the look and it feels quite sturdy. The reason it gets 4 instead of 5 stars is bc the cushioning is very firm. It doesn’t give a comfy, loungy feel. But with lots of throw pillows it will work. Also, 5 stars to Wayfair customer service as it arrived with a couple cracked pieces which were replaced promptly.. The sofa chaise combo arrived in 2 packages a few days apart. I was able to assemble this by myself fairly quickly with no issues. The frame is sturdy and powder-coated, so it seems resistant to scratches. The cushions are more of a cream (yellow based) rather than a true beige (brown based). The seat cushions are thick and sturdy. The back cushions were thin, even after allowing them to puff up, so I put some thinner bed pillows in there and that worked perfectly.
