Update to my review. Less than a year later and one spinner won’t spin in the wind at all now though it turns by hand. The other is only spinning on the top. Has anyone figured out how to fix it Took it apart, oiled screws and put back together and still isn’t working the same. I’ve gone crazy buying garden wind spinners from Wayfair. This is my 12th. This is a show stopper! Very colorful and easily picks up the wind. This is cute little yard decor. Not too tall. It is perfect for my container walkway. Gives a little pop of color before the main spring blooms show up. The spinner works fine. I use it to tell if the wind is strong enough to open the gate for. It is around three feet and comes in three pieces. It is simple to put together and takes about three to five minutes to put together and stick in the ground. It would be nice if the pictures showed the actual height. The dimensions are correct in the specifications, but the pics make the height seem higher. Description is misleading, as it states "fully assembled." You do need to put the blades together on the round disks, which takes some manual dexterity, as the screws and bolts are rather small. Once you have that done, the rest is very easy to assemble. Overall it is all pretty easy to do. Blades need to be bent in order to achieve the shape similar to the picture. Our large weeping willow tree was struck by lightning and we had to take the remaining left down. To replace that area along the fence, I selected the windmill to go along with a rock garden. I am so happy with this spinner. I painted mine turquoise if you are wondering, the don’t sell it like this. It’s just awesome! First it’s quite easy to assemble. The bearings on this are extremely well made! One spinner goes one direction the other another direction. It’s quite amazing. The top is meant to spin freely when the wind blows it will turn with the wind. So you will always have movement! Yet, the bottom pole is staked in the ground. Quite genius if you ask me! The pole is thick. Strong steel. It’s only two pieces and then the top part that spins and then the spinner. So you do not have these multiple poles bending and twisting. Only the two pieces. And it’s so strong. Not cheaply made! The spinners are beautiful, they were shipped very nicely in the box, separated from each other so they wouldn’t be bent or damaged. I appreciate things like that from a company. This spinner gets so many compliments from my neighbors since it’s in the front yard. I enjoy it. You should get one if you are thinking about it.
