Love this arbor! The instructions were very user‑friendly, and overall the assembly was straightforward. It definitely requires two people to put together, but once you get going it comes together nicely. These heavy duty yet beatiful arbors (I purchased 3) were very easy to put together and place in my back yard for six climbing rose bushes. It's a good value for the price. There was a minor quality control issue that made it hard to tighten screws on the door. But the door still works fine. It was easy to put together. My boyfriend put level concrete blocks in the ground and secured the base to the blocks. So, we didn't use the stakes that were included. It's definitely an upgrade from the old gate we had.
