We have had this bed for a long time and my daughter loves it. It is metal and does creak, which is not a deal breaker for a kid. We’ve had it for over 7 years and both the bed and trundle have held up nicely.. Logan. SC. Thu Jul 02 2026

This daybed provides a streamlined solution for lounging by day and hosting guests by night. It also features a powder-coated finish that stands up to daily use.

The bronze color is a rich matte finish brown. I am 64 yo and was able to build it by myself. It did take a while (NOT 1.5 hours for me) and as another reviewer said, pushing all those plastic pieces in was rough on the hands ! It does seem very sturdy though. Well built, not flimsy at all. Don't tighten anything at all until everything is together - leave it really loose. Had to go back and loosen at first for more flexibility in connecting. 8" mattresses coming tomorrow - $99 deal each so the whole thing will be less than $500 for my grandchildren when they visit so they no longer have to bring sleeping bags or camp out on the floor ! I'd show you after the bedding is on but I'll prob forget so here it is....for now. Wendy. Ocean, NJ. Thu Oct 15 2026

With a design that speaks to your love of vintage styling, the classic design daybed with a lift-up trundle helps you to achieve the timeless aesthetic you wish to present in any room. Classic elements, such as ball accents on the vertical rods of the daybed and its curved profit, are finished in an antique bronze serving as an effective statement on the traditional look. The lift-up trundle provides convenient expansion of the sleeping area, with its folding legs quickly engaging to bring the unit to full height while the casters allow for ease of storage.

Very happy with it. Needed a trundle bed that would fit 9.5 inch mattresses. Bottom does just fine with 9.5 inch. Would probably do okay with 10 inch too. Only used the top so far but it’s comfy. If you have any creaking make sure to tighten everything up and it should be fine. They say not to tighten until end so then you need to go back and tighten to make sure there is no creaking or wiggling. Pretty easy to put together even as one person just a bit of time. Bronze color is pretty black with a hint of the bronze when light hits it. I put it in a room with a desk with true black metal accents and it looks fine.. Anonymous. Sun Aug 30 2026

Heavy Duty Metal Twin Daybed with Pop-Up Collapsible Trundle, Steel Slat Platform & Stylish Headboard, Adjustable Guest Sofa Bed for Living Room or Bedroom - Sand Texture with Board

There were a LOT of pieces to this bed! There were times in the assembly when it was helpful to have two people. (And when you first take out the pieces, don't worry that some don't match the picture - those are for the trundle! I kept going, "My #4 is different!") I really appreciated that they gave an extra of each type of screw, washer, nut, etc. and clearly labeled their little baggies. :). Monica. Wed Sep 23 2026
