Quality is fair, not exceptional. Upholstery is only on the outside of the bed, not behind the headboard, footboard or rails. Bed is assembled with bolts that are visible on the footboard which I don’t like. The fabric is linen and on the lighter side, not yellowish or grey. Hammered features are a nice contrast to the conventional upholstered bed design. Bed can be mixed with contemporary furniture or antiquish, like I have. All in all, I’d recommend. We purchased this in two sizes. They have performed different, so I am going to review each independent from each other. This purchase was for a king bed. It went together relatively easily, and I did it by myself. It probabaly took less than two hours. The metal is sturdy, the pieces went together well (some of the screws are tight and I needed a few breaks between - but that’s a good thing!). It has been used for over two years now and has held up great! No scratches, little to no squeaking, no slats falling outloosening, etc. I am happy with the quality and price point. This bed frame is absolutely gorgeous! We purchased the queen size in light gray, and the tall, substantial headboard is definitely the star of the room. It makes the entire bed feel much more expensive and elegant. The fabric is even prettier in person. It has a thick, textured knit with subtle hints of cream, blue, and gray woven throughout, which works beautifully with the colors in our room. I also love the proportions of the footboard. It’s substantial enough to give the bed a finished look, but low enough that you’re not constantly catching your hip on it when walking around the bed. The wood legs with brass feet are a beautiful finishing touch and add just the right amount of elegance. Assembly was fairly easy. It took my husband about an hour to put everything together.
