Purchased 4 sets of these stools to go long with two matching pub tables. After assembling 4 of them along with the matching tables, I’m quite pleased with the quality. I expect the other 4 stools to be the same. Assembly is pretty easy and the hardware all went together without issue. These are a little more cumbersome to assemble than the matching tables because there is less room to spin the Allen wrench however, because almost every bolt was able to be turned by hand I only needed to use the wrench for final tightening and this helps save a ton of time. I can’t stress enough how much more pleasant it is when you don’t have to deal with cross-threaded and stripped hardware. Aside from the fit and finish, the seats are great looking. Time will tell how well they age but we will always keep them covered when not in use so I’m not too worried. They can always be oiled. Aside from the ease of assembly and aesthetics exceeding expectations at this price point, each of the 4 corners of each stool has a leveling pad that you can use to keep these from wobbling. I absolutely adore these barstools! I purchased them when we moved into our home six years ago, and I’m happy to say that we still use and love them today. One thing that makes me especially impressed with these chairs is that they’ve survived six years with rambunctious kids. My children are not particularly gentle with furniture, and these chairs have been tipped over more than a few times. As a result, the backrests have loosened and slightly broken in a couple of spots over the years. Thankfully, we’ve been able to tighten everything back up with an Allen wrench, and they’ve remained perfectly usable. The black legs have also accumulated a few chips and scuffs from daily family life, kids running into them, toys, and general wear and tear. However, after six years of heavy use, I still think they look fantastic. One thing to note is that the seats are wood and have decorative grooves where crumbs and food can collect. It’s not a major issue, but you may occasionally need to wipe them out or vacuum the grooves to keep them clean. Overall, I would absolutely recommend these barstools. They are stylish, durable, and have held up remarkably well in a busy household. I receive compliments on them all the time, and people are always surprised when I tell them they’re from Wayfair.
