These lanterns are beautiful! I got the bronze. They are well made with attention to detail. The instructions state to charge them for 6 hours. I received them at 3:45 pm. My apartment faces east, and the sun was already over my apartment building, no longer on my balcony or coming in any windows. I set them on the balcony receiving only daylight. At dark, they lit right up full power. So, either they were already charged, or the daylight was adequate for charging. I get only about 3 hours of sun on my balcony due to trees and the building east of mine being higher on a ridge and blocking sun at times , so they have never been charged for 6 hours straight. I’m reviewing this prematurely. Haven’t even see the solar lights on at night yet, but these fit perfectly on our existing fiberon symetry decking railings. This is a beautiful, large outdoor light fixture. Very heavy duty with a solid exterior bronze metal. The interior of the light fixture is a rectangle shaped crackled glass that fits inside the metal and over the top of the lightbulb. The light fixture is approx 17 inches tall.
