There were a lot of pieces and steps, and I ultimately decided to hire someone to put it together. That said, once assembled, it was 100 worth it. I love this bed head backrest, well fit on my bunkbed, even though this backrest is for bed frame to use. I didn’t install 2 legs on the back to hold the backrest. The headboard is beautiful! I was worried about the height given this is going on a low head-only adjustable bed. I was able to attach the legs immediately at the correct height. Because the bed frame does not have the parts to be able to attach the headboard, I will be attaching it directly to the wall using the remaining openings in the legs which will be out of sight.
