It will lay all the way back, but it wants to pull back up, which is annoying. We had just finished building our gazebo and was looking for a small but nice 3 piece outdoor set. We had looked at a number of different options but kept coming back to this one. We'll we bought it and had it coming. Came in one large box. Was heavy for the delivery guy as well for us. I had all 3 pieces built in a couple of hours. We set them out in the gazebo in a few different ways and decided on this. The extra throw pillows were a nice surprise because we didn't know that they were included.
